Administrative Do’s & Don’ts and Other Unlicensed Brokerage Activities
In this course I will:
1- Identify and analyze twenty-five common administrative roles in real estate. The number of roles adds confusion and causes consumer complaints. By the end of this section, the broker will be able to decide which type of assistant will give the consumer a professional real estate experience free of violations.
2- Describe and list ways to protect the consumers in their selling, buying and or leasing process due to brokers using unlicensed assistants and other unlicensed people such as home inspectors.
3- Discuss solutions to decrease complaints against brokers by sharing common violations, centered around unlicensed assistants and unlicensed activity that has been reported by the consumers to NCREC. Analyze related anonymous consent orders and or cases.
4- Discuss and analyze a few anonymous consent orders and or cases about unlicensed activities focused on wholesalers, a “finder’s fee” and brokers with an inactive license status.
